Kansas City Center for Inclusion (Formerly LIKEME Lighthouse)

 Kansas City’s LGBTQIA+ resource center. It provides a safe, welcoming community space where LGBTQIA+ individuals, their families, friends, and straight allies can come for education, resources, and activities; and by providing community outreach in building a cohesive LGBTQIA+ community in the Midwest.

Meets every 3rd Tuesday at 6 pm via Zoom.

The Tenth Voice

The Tenth Voice is Kansas City's weekly LGBTQ public affairs, news and entertainment radio show, which airs at 1 p.m. Saturdays on KKFI-FM (90.1)

The Transgender Institute

Provides support services and therapy for FTM and MTF adults, teens and children.

Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG)

PFLAG-KC is the local chapter of PFLAG in our area. It meets twice a month in two locations in support of loved ones, family and friends of LGBTQ persons. This support extends to LGBTQ persons themselves and especially youth during the coming out process.

The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project provides crisis intervention nationally to LGBTQ young people ages 13-24. Text or chat with trained volunteers.

Gay and Lesbian Archive of Mid-America (GLAMA)

The Gay and Lesbian Archive of Mid-America (GLAMA) is made up of collections located in the LaBudde Special Collections Department at the Miller Nichols Library at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. GLAMA collects, preserves, and makes accessible the materials that reflect the histories of the LGBTQIA communities of the Kansas City region
